The company’s Samba indoor soccer shoe has been around since 1950 and has sold more than 35 million pairs worldwide. Until recently, the Samba, like the Copa, had been available in any color as long as it was black. No more. On the miAdidas Web site , people can noodle with the colors to your heart’s content. And now, the Samba steps off the soccer field and onto the golf course in shoes for the duffer and par-breaker alike.

The golf shoes will be available on March 1 in black/white, white/black and satellite (red)/white and retail for $100 a pair.

Back on the soccer field (and soon to be followed onto the football field and the tennis court), Dec. 1 brings the release in the United States of a new version of the Adizero F50 (featherlight at about 6 ounces) cleat called the miCoach Speed_Cell . The hook is that is gives a player, any player, a bit of technology via an embedded chip that allows users to record and analyze the performance of the wearer to find out things like how many miles they ran, how fast, etc.
