Billy Jack, Jr's Story
In the year 2052, Billy Jack, Jr. was flying overland with his son in their family hover craft toward the Rocky Mountain retreat in the distance. Also known as “Injun Jack” and “he who fights fast,” he let his son, Bobby Jack, also known as, “he who sees far,” fly the vehicle. Injun Jack thought it was about time he told his sixteen year old son the back story of his life, so that he could become fully aware of the fateful turning point in the year 2012 which brought the native people and their lands back to life.
“Remember what I told you about the ‘Ghost Dance?’” Billy asked.
“Yeah, Dad, I know.” Bobby rolled his eyes. “You’ve told me many times about what happened at Wounded Knee and the massacre.”
“But it’s important for you to know why they were dancing, that it was a ritual designed to restore the earth and the lives of our ancestors.”
“The whole story seems so unreal.” Bobby sighed. “I mean our people being taken up into the sky and then the planet swallowing the evil ones so we could return to a new earth.” He shook his head while he set the controls of the hovercraft for a landing.
