Catawba’s men’s basketball team jumped out 15-2 in the opening minutes and flattened Mars Hill 106-88 for a SAC win on Wednesday. Catawba (5-12, 2-7) won for just the second time since Thanksgiving.

Keon Moore went 13-for-16 from the field, made four triples and scored 33 points. Tyrece Little had 25 points and 13 boards.

Cameron Lovelace scored 12 points, while Justin Huntley had 10. Catawba shot 60.6 percent, including 66.7 percent in the second half.

The Lions (4-14, 2-7) got 22 points from Sammy Emile.
