In Iowa, voters get their say and some candidates will say farewell: Joe Frolik
After 16 debates, dozens of straw polls and enough wild twists to inspire a new ride at Cedar Point, this week we start getting answers to some of the burning questions surrounding the fight for the Republican presidential nomination:
Can Mitt Romney get a little love?
Can Newt Gingrich win without money or an organization?
Is Ron Paul more than a niche product?
Can Michele Bachmann earn another 15 minutes of fame?
Can Rick (Oops) Perry?
Will Rick Santorum ever get his 15 minutes?
Do any Republicans take Jon Huntsman seriously?
Actually, that last question will have to wait another week. Unlike his rivals, Huntsman is skipping Tuesday's Iowa caucuses and betting everything on New Hampshire, which holds its primary Jan. 10. But the others are battling all-out in Iowa -- even Romney and Gingrich, who both ignored the state until late December, but have now joined the fray with gusto.
