Paul Revere and the Raiders perform in Pocatello
Paul Revere and the Raiders performed in the Grand Concert Hall at the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center Thursday evening to an enthusiastic audience. Although the crowd seemed unruffled at times, the six band members displayed great showmanship and talent while dressed in bright red colonial coats, white ruffled shirts and black knee high boots.
The crowd cheered as Revere shouted, “What’s cuter then old men in tights? You can’t believe that we are still wearing these pants.”
Just like the cover of their “Kicks” album, Paul Revere sported a three-sided hat trimmed in white feathers while playing and creating sound effects from a key board that resembled the front of a white, classic car.
In addition to performing a handful of his hit songs, Revere joked with his fans several times throughout the show poking fun at his age. He said, “I’m gonna be 75 years old. That’s not old, at least in Nashville at Happy Acres.
